Celtic lift Youth Cup
Clydesdale Bank U19 League champions Celtic clinched the double by beating Rangers 2-0 in the SFA Youth Cup final in front of a crowd of 7,571 at Hampden on Wednesday night.
Goals from Sean Fitzharris and Filip Twardzik gave Celtic their first Youth Cup triumph since 2006, with Rangers (twice) and Hibernian (last season) having lifted the trophy in the interim.
Fitzharris, just on as a substitute, broke the deadlock in 57 minutes with a fine shot from outside the area and fellow sub Twardzik headed the second past Grant Adam in 69 minutes.
