SPL shut-out records

Motherwell claimed their 15th clean sheet of the season in last night's 0-0 draw against
St Mirren and lead the SPL shut-out table by three from Rangers.

The Steelmen have already smashed their previous best of 11 clean sheets - achieved in 1998/99 and again in 1999/00 - but will need to continue their mean streak if they are to beat the SPL record of 22 shut-outs in a season, which was set by Martin O'Neill's Celtic in 2001/02.
