What the managers said after Saturday's games in the Clydesdale Bank Premier League...
Aberdeen 2-1 St Johnstone
Mark McGhee "I think we deserved to win. We came under pressure late in the game and it was an aerial bombardment with Kenny Deuchar up front who is a difficult player to play against."
Derek McInnes "At 1-1 I thought we were looking the better side and we should have left here with at least a point."
Hamilton Accies 2-2 Motherwell
Billy Reid "There are mixed emotions to play so long with 10 men and put in that effort and endeavour and go ahead twice but get pegged back. Our goalkeeper has had a great game and I think the sending-off (of Guillaume Beuzelin) has certainly had an influence on the game."
Striker John Sutton "You have got to give credit to Hamilton. They scored two very good goals but we're disappointed we never got our noses in front and got the chance to kill the game."
Hearts 0-0 Hibernian
Csaba Laszlo "I can only say again and again and again, if you don't score goals, you don't ever win a game. With all my respect also for Christian Nade and Gary Glen and Jamie Mole, they worked well and did what was necessary but we didn't score the goals."
John Hughes "I'll take a point with the way we played. Not to be at your best and to come here and take a point, I think it shows good signs. I felt Hearts were the better side in the first half but second half I felt we were a little bit better."
Kilmarnock 0-2 Dundee United
Jim Jefferies "We beat St Johnstone here in our last game and I thought we were 10 times better today. United scored the goals, that was the difference. I thought we were terrific in open play, we certainly had the chances to score but unfortunately we didn't put the ball in the net."
Craig Levein "I thought it was a good team performance and I could go through the whole team, I thought they excelled. I thought our two central defenders handled Kevin Kyle well and when they didn't, Nicky Weaver was there."
Rangers 2-1 St Mirren
Walter Smith "I always think St Mirren are a difficult team to play against and there were periods of the game where they imposed themselves and we had to work hard against them. But we were delighted to win the game in the end."
Gus MacPherson "It was the worst possible start we could have had but credit to them for the way they came back after that. You have to be brave to try to play in the manner in which we did in the first half. We tried to pass the ball and we created two or three opportunities."
