Champions end with a draw
Champions Celtic and Aberdeen played out a 0-0 draw at Pittodrie this afternoon as the 2008/09 SPL Reserve League campaign reached an end.
Willie McStay's side clinched the title with a number of games to spare and eventually finished nine points clear of second-placed Hearts, with Rangers third.
The SPL Reserve League will continue in its current format next season with the 12 clubs playing each other once home and away for a total of 22 matches.
