Midweek previews

Eight clubs, from Inverness CT in second spot to Dundee United in ninth, are separated by only four points ahead of a full card of midweek games in the Clydesdale Bank Premier League.

Aberdeen welcome in-form Ross County to Pittodrie in Tuesday's fixture, live on ESPN at 7.30pm, while new Dundee boss John Brown takes charge for the first time when bottom club Dundee meet St Johnstone in a Tayside derby in one of five matches on Wednesday night.

Leaders Celtic make the short trip to Fir Park to take on Motherwell, live on Sky Sports at 7.45pm, while second-placed Inverness CT have home advantage against Dundee United.

St Mirren will go above Hearts if they come out on top in Paisley and one point is also all that separates Hibernian and Kilmarnock ahead of their encounter at Easter Road.
