Celtic cruise to Dundee win, United earn a draw
Celtic stretched their lead at the top of the Clydesdale Bank Premier League to 21 points with a 5-0 win over bottom club Dundee at Parkhead on Sunday.
Captain Joe Ledley gave Neil Lennon's side an early lead and Matt Lockwood was sent off for conceding a penalty, which was converted by James Forrest, shortly after the interval.
Dylan McGeouch added the third goal and Ledley bagged his second of the afternoon before Celtic's top scorer Gary Hooper completed the rout seven minutes from time.
In the day's later game, Dundee United and Hibernian, two of eight clubs separated by a mere four points, drew 2-2 at Tannadice.
John Rankin scored early for United but James McPake levelled before the break. Leigh Griffiths had Hibs in front, only for Johnny Russell to convert a penalty with four minutes remaining.
