Johnny Russell scored after just 15 seconds as Dundee United defeated Rangers 3-0 at Tannadice on Saturday to reach the last eight of the William Hill Scottish Cup.
Jon Daly was also on target before the break and Russell added the third goal in front of new boss Jackie McNamara before Kal Naismith and Ian Black were sent off for the visitors.

Dundee enjoyed a terrific 5-1 win over First Division leaders Morton at Dens Park. Michael Tidser cancelled out Jim McAlister's opener but Lewis Toshney, Colin Nish, John Baird and Declan Gallagher all netted after the break for Barry Smith's men.
In Sunday's late game, Hibernian edged out Aberdeen 1-0 at Easter Road thanks to a stunning strike from Gary Deegan early in the second half. The Dons had a great chance to equalise with less than 10 minutes remaining but Scott Vernon's penalty was saved by Ben Williams.
