New Year previews

The Edinburgh derby between Hearts and Hibernian at Tynecastle on Thursday evening is one of the highlights of the first set of Clydesdale Bank Premier League games in 2013.

The Highland clash of Ross County and Inverness CT has been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch at the Global Energy Stadium but four other games are set for Wednesday.

St Johnstone and Dundee meet in a Tayside derby at McDiarmid Park, kick-off 2pm, while Aberdeen welcome Dundee United to Pittodrie.

Leaders Celtic entertain a Motherwell team who are joint second in the table and St Mirren can move level on points with Kilmarnock if they get the better of Kenny Shiels' team in Paisley.
