Hibernian end derby wait to knock out Hearts
David Wotherspoon scored with just seven minutes left to give Hibernian a 1-0 win over William Hill Scottish Cup holders Hearts at Easter Road on Sunday afternoon.
With a hard-fought tie of few chances seemingly heading to a replay at Tynecastle, Wotherspoon's drive took a deflection off Marius Zaliukas to send Hibs into Monday's fifth-round draw.
The result ends Hibernian's 12-match winless run in the Edinburgh derby and gives them partial revenge for the 5-1 defeat to their city rivals at Hampden back in May.
