Inverness CT down Dons to go level with Celtic
Inverness CT moved level on points with leaders Celtic at the top of the Clydesdale Bank Premier League after beating Aberdeen 3-2 at Pittodrie on Tuesday night.
Incredibly, only two points separate the top six clubs ahead of Wednesday's games, which see Celtic travel to Hearts and St Johnstone up against Hibernian at McDiarmid Park.
Billy McKay gave Caley Thistle the lead but a Josh Magennis double either side of half-time had the Dons on course for the SPL summit. Gary Warren soon equalised and McKay struck late on as Terry Butcher's men followed up their weekend win at Parkhead with another fine victory.
Early goals from Michael Higdon and Chris Humphrey paved the way for Motherwell's 2-1 win over Dundee United at Tannadice. Skipper Jon Daly pulled one back but Well held on.
Ross County remain a point ahead of St Mirren after a 0-0 draw at the Global Energy Stadium.
