Maybury joins Hibernian, Saints snap up Beattie
Hibernian have signed experienced defender Alan Maybury on a one-year deal following his departure from St Johnstone and he could make his debut against former club Hearts on Sunday.
St Johnstone have agreed a 12-month contract with former Celtic and Hearts striker Craig Beattie and he will put pen to paper if he comes through a weekend medical.
Motherwell have drafted in teenage defender Fraser Kerr on loan from Birmingham for six months. He previously came through the ranks as a youngster at Fir Park.
St Mirren have re-signed former goalkeeper Chris Smith as cover for Grant Adam, who is out injured until around Christmas. Smith spent last season with Dunfermline.
