St Johnstone sign Cregg
St Johnstone have made 26-year-old midfielder Patrick Cregg their sixth signing of the summer.
Cregg, who began his career at Arsenal, moves to McDiarmid Park after spending last season with Bury in League One. He has also played for Falkirk, Hibernian, Morton and St Mirren.
Saints boss Steve Lomas told the club website: "Patrick ticks a lot of the boxes I am looking for. He’s a good age and feels he has something to prove. He does the simple things well in the middle of the park and deserves his chance. I’m confident he can be a real asset to us."
Lomas has already brought in Tam Scobbie, Nigel Hasselbaink, Gary Miller, Gregory Tade and Jonny Tuffey as he reshapes his squad for the 2012/13 campaign.
