Kilmarnock sign Tesselaar
Kilmarnock have snapped up Dutch defender Jeroen Tesselaar on a two-year deal following his depature from SPL rivals St Mirren.
The 23-year spent last season with the Buddies after moving from Telstar but links up with Kenny Shiels' side, who finished just above Saints in the 2011/12 Clydesdale Bank Premier League.
Shiels said: "We’re really happy to get him on board because we’ve lost Ben Gordon (who was on loan) so now we’ve got competition between Rory McKeown and Jeroen.
"I think there were a few teams in for him but we were in early, very early in fact, and I think he was impressed with how we play and what we can offer him from a football perspective."
