U19s: Paisley men win battle of Saints
The 2011/12 Clydesdale Bank U19 League concluded on Friday when St Mirren beat St Johnstone 2-1 at Stirling University in the final match of the season.
David McAlinden gave the Paisley side the lead and, although a Jason Naismith own goal levelled the scores, John McGinn won it for the visitors with 20 minutes remaining.
Celtic were crowned champions last month, finishing eight points clear of nearest challengers Hearts to claim the trophy for the third year in a row.
