Dundee United defeat Inverness in Monday match
Dundee United are up to fourth place in the Clydesdale Bank Premier League after beating Inverness CT 3-0 at Tannadice on Monday night.
John Rankin broke the deadlock with a spectacular effort from distance and Scott Robertson doubled United's lead with a header early in the second half.
Johnny Russell sealed victory with a terrific third goal as Peter Houston's men racked up a fourth straight shut-out and leapfrogged Hearts and St Johnstone.
