Scottish Communities League Cup previews
Seven SPL clubs are involved in the second round of the Scottish Communities League Cup this week, with Rangers, Celtic, Hearts, Dundee United and Kilmarnock exempt until round three.
Aberdeen v Dundee - Tuesday, 7.45pm
Craig Brown's Aberdeen claimed their first league win of the season on Saturday, beating Inverness CT 2-1, but Division One Dundee came out on top when they met two years ago.
East Fife v Dunfermline - Tuesday, 7.45pm
Jim McIntyre's team are unbeaten in their first Clydesdale Bank Premier League campaign since 2006/07 but face a tricky Fife derby away to John Robertson's Second Division side.
Hibernian v Berwick Rangers - Tuesday, 7.45pm
Garry O'Connor is the only player to have scored for Hibs this season but Colin Calderwood's side will expect to bounce back from losing to St Mirren against their Third Division opponents.
Morton v St Mirren - Tuesday, 7.30pm
A big crowd is expected for the Renfrewshire derby at Cappielow. Saints have lost just once in five SPL matches this season while Morton are unbeaten in the First Division.
Ayr United v Inverness CT - Wednesday, 7.30pm
Caley Thistle make the long journey south looking for a cup boost after picking up just one point from their first five league games. Ayr drew 2-2 with Falkirk in Division One at the weekend.
Clyde v Motherwell - Wednesday, 7.45pm
Stuart McCall's men are bidding to bounce back from Sunday's 3-0 home defeat to Rangers against a Clyde team who have made a good start in Division Three, with two wins and a draw.
St Johnstone v Livingston - Wednesday, 7.45pm
Saints are on a high after beating Celtic 1-0 at Parkhead on Sunday but they lost their last home game to Dunfermline. Livingston defeated Dundee 4-2 in a First Division fixture on Saturday.
