+ Dunfermline are back in the Clydesdale Bank Premier League for the first time since 2006/07, having pipped Fife rivals Raith Rovers to win the First Division title.
+ Manager Jim McIntyre took over in December 2007, replacing Stephen Kenny initially on a caretaker basis before being confirmed as boss at the beginning of January 2008.
+ Dunfermline's most successful period came during the 1960s when they lifted the Scottish Cup twice - in 1961 and 1968 - and were regular participants in European competition.
+ The East End Park club's best season in the SPL came in 2003/04 when they finished fourth in the table under Jimmy Calderwood and were also Scottish Cup runners-up to Celtic.
