 The SPL Trust in partnership with the Department of Work & Pensions has created 426 six month job placements across the SPL clubs through the Future Jobs Fund programme.

The Future Jobs Fund programme is designed to give people in long-term unemployment an opportunity to gain a six month work placement. The SPL clubs have employed people in a variety of roles including Community Coaches, Grounds Staff, Maintenance Staff, Administration Assistants, Digital Media Staff, Marketing and Commercial Administrators and many more.

Each job has an element of community benefit to it. Therefore, this scheme helps the individual, the club and the communities that support those clubs.

The programme runs until September 2011.
