Tuesday May 11 St Mirren part company with long-serving boss Gus MacPherson, who had been with the club since December 2003.
Thursday May 13 St Johnstone make the first signing of the summer, snapping up Kilmarnock midfielder Jamie Adams on a two-year deal.
Saturday May 15 Dundee United win the Scottish Cup for only the second time in their history, beating Ross County 3-0 in the final. The result means Motherwell qualify for the Europa League, along with United and Hibernian.
Thursday May 20 Aberdeen agree a deal that will see Rochdale defender Rory McArdle join up at Pittodrie on July 1...Hamilton land Morton winger Jim McAlister.
Tuesday May 25 Rangers confirm that Walter Smith will remain at Ibrox for 2010/11, with Ally McCoist set to replace him next summer... Dundee United boss Peter Houston signs a three-year deal to stay on as manager, having taken over from Craig Levein on a caretaker basis in December...Hamilton unveil new signing Gavin Skelton from Kilmarnock...Dave Mackay extends his stay at St Johnstone by two years.

Monday May 31 Kilmarnock are looking for a new manager after Jimmy Calderwood announced that he would not be at the club next season...St Johnstone sign Scotland international striker Scott Dobie from Carlisle on a one-year contract.
Tuesday June 1 The World Cup squads are announced, with several SPL players heading for South Africa. Maurice Edu and DaMarcus Beasley (Rangers and USA), Madjid Bougherra (Rangers and Algeria), Georgios Samaras (Celtic and Greece), Landry N'Guemo (Celtic and Cameroon), Ki Sung-Yueng (Celtic and South Korea), Sol Bamba (Hibernian and Ivory Coast) and Dusan Pernis (Dundee United and Slovakia) will all be there. Michael McGlinchey of New Zealand (on loan at Motherwell last term) and Holland's Edson Braafheid (on loan at Celtic last year) are also listed.

Monday June 21 Dundee United make Queen's Park defender Barry Douglas their first summer signing in a three-year deal...St Mirren snap up Cowdenbeath forward Paul McQuade on a two-year contract...Motherwell are drawn against European debutants Breidablik of Iceland in the second qualifying round of the Europa League...Kirk Broadfoot pens a three-year deal at Ibrox.
Wednesday June 23 Former Hibernian boss Mixu Paatelainen is appointed as the new manager of Kilmarnock on a two-year deal following the departure of Jimmy Calderwood last month.
Friday June 25 The Clydesdale Bank U19 League fixtures for 2010/11 are published, with reigning champions Celtic at home to Hamilton in their opening game on August 21.
Wednesday June 30 Rangers skipper David Weir, 40, signs a new one-year deal. Tranmere Head of Youth Kenny Shiels is named assistant manager at Kilmarnock.
Thursday July 1 Motherwell sign goalkeeper Darren Randolph from Charlton on a three-year deal while Brentford winger Cleveland Taylor pens a one-year contract with St Johnstone. Charlie Mulgrew signs for Celtic for three years after leaving Aberdeen.
Friday July 2 Celtic sign South Korea defender Cha Du-Ri on a two-year deal with the option of another 12 months. He joins from German side Freiburg.
Monday July 5 SPL record goalscorer Kris Boyd completes his move from Rangers to Middlesbrough, signing a two-year contract. On a busy day of transfer activity, Inverness CT bring in Israeli striker Gil Blumanshtein from Hapoel Beer-Sheva and goalkeeper Max Johnson from Newcastle. Hibernian recruit teenage defender David Stephens from Norwich and Northern Ireland striker Josh Magennis makes the switch from Cardiff to Aberdeen.
Tuesday July 6 The pre-season friendly action begins, with Motherwell winning 3-1 at Brechin.
Thursday July 8 Hibernian sign former Aberdeen full-back Michael Hart from Preston and Dundee United land Slovakian goalkeeper Filip Mentel from Manchester City.
Friday July 9 St Mirren snap up full-back Jure Travner on a season-long loan deal from Watford.
Monday July 12 Celtic announce the signing of midfielder Joe Ledley on a four-year deal from Cardiff. Hamilton manager Billy Reid, the longest-serving boss in the SPL, turns down the chance to move to Swansea City.
Tuesday July 13 Middlesbrough complete the signing of former Celtic skipper Stephen McManus. Dundee United's Danny Swanson and Hamilton's Dougie Imrie sign new contracts.
Wednesday July 14 St Mirren sign striker Gareth Wardlaw from Cowdenbeath and goalkeeper Craig Samson from Ayr while Mark Howard leaves the club to join Aberdeen.
Thursday July 15 Stewart Robertson (Motherwell FC) and Eric Riley (Celtic FC) are elected to the SPL Board at the AGM. They replace Martin Bain (Rangers FC) and Duncan Fraser (Aberdeen FC) who are standing down...Celtic keeper Artur Boruc completes his move to Fiorentina ...Inverness CT sign Partick Thistle keeper Jon Tuffey...Motherwell will take a 1-0 lead to Iceland for the second leg of their Europa League qualifying round two tie against Breidablik thanks to a Ross Forbes goal...St Johnstone sign Walsall frontman Sam Parkin.
Friday July 16 Celtic are drawn against Portuguese outfit Braga in the third qualifying round of the Champions League... Hibernian land Videoton or Maribor at the same stage of the Europa League...Celtic make Sunderland striker Daryl Murphy their fourth summer signing..Defender Marc McAusland rejoins St Mirren from Queen of the South and Kevin McCann makes a loan switch from Hibernian to Inverness CT.
Saturday July 17 Neil Lennon makes another move in the transfer market, bringing in Mexico international Efrain Juarez from UNAM Pumas on a four-year deal.
Tuesday July 20 Rangers head to Australia for a pre-season tour but Danny Wilson stays behind to complete his move to Liverpool...Inverness CT snap up ex-St Mirren defender Chris Innes.
Wednesday July 21 Hamilton announce that they have agreed a deal to sell midfielder James McArthur to Wigan.
Thursday July 22 Motherwell defeat Breidablik 1-0 in Iceland to book a date with Aalesunds of Norway in qualifying round three of the Europa League.
Monday July 26 Aberdeen sign midfielder Yoann Folly from Plymouth and striker Scott Vernon from Colchester...Hamilton bring in Bury left-back David Buchanan and Sean Lynch joins St Mirren after leaving Falkirk...Andy Millen is appointed No 2 to Billy Reid at Hamilton

Thursday July 28 Jamie Murphy becomes Motherwell's leading goalscorer in Europe as Craig Brown's men draw 1-1 away to Aalesunds but Hibernian lose their Europa League third round qualifier 3-0 to Maribor in Slovenia. Celtic unveil their latest new signing, Maccabi Haifa midfielder Beram Kayal, and Inverness CT seal a deal for Barnet defender Kenny Gillet.
