The opening-day records of the current SPL clubs are detailed below:
Aberdeen - Have won just two of 12 first-day fixtures, the most recent 2-1 at Hibernian in 2002.
Celtic - Only team not to have lost on day one, with nine wins and three draws.
Dundee United - Three wins, four draws and five defeats are their opening-weekend stats.
Falkirk - Mixed bag for the Bairns, with two wins and three losses.
Hamilton - Won their opening game against Dundee United last year. Lost at Kilmarnock this year.
Hearts - Behind only the Old Firm, with seven wins, two draws and three defeats.
Hibernian - The day-one draw specialists, with five in their 11 seasons in the SPL.
Kilmarnock - Five wins, three draws and four defeats is the Killie story.
Motherwell - Just the two wins for Well among three draws and seven losses.
Rangers - Lost their first ever SPL match at Tynecastle but unbeaten on day once since.
St Johnstone - Picked up their first opening-day point in 2009/10 after four previous defeats.
St Mirren - Started with a victory in 2006/07 but beaten in their other four SPL openers.
